Oliver's Costa Rica Blog

Costa Rica was our third expedition of the semester. We drove to Atlanta on Thursday for the airport. WE flew to Costa Rica and landed in San Jose on the same day. WE were picked up at the airport by Willie and drove to the hostel. We went and looked around at different shops in the city and there were ice cream shops, skate shops and a music store. There were tons of construction in San Jose and razor wire  the top of every building. We stayed the night in the hostel then in the morning we entered the bus and drove to La Fortuna. In La Fortuna did horse back riding and zip lining. The cabanas we stayed in were really nice. We were there for three days. We went to the hot springs; the water slides there were really fast and slick. Horse back riding was a lot of fun because they let you get on the horse and just follow the tour guide. They didn’t have many rules for us to follow and that’s why it was tons of fun. Costa Rica was probably the coolest expedition I’ve been on yet. I’m looking forward to future expeditions.
