Fate Amos SOAR Blog #1

Greetings, my name is Fate Amos. I am a new student here at the Academy at SOAR. This is the first blog I am writing for my class. It is an overview about my experiences so far in the Florida Keys. It has been a difficult time for me not being able to see or talk to my family or friends.

            After two days of travelling, we reached our campsite. The guys have been great and we have been working hard to get work done and have more fun. Day 1 was spent watching scuba videos in a library classroom. The second day was taking scuba quizzes by the pool. Our off day was spent visiting the History of Diving Museum. Today, we did two pool dives. One of which was very cold and hard to acclimate to.

            This first expedition has been a good learning experience for me. I have improved on time management and compromising. We have a full week to finish the expedition. In the future, I will be able to be in touch with all of you in as many ways possible. My contact information will be listed below.
